Accommodation:
A hotel in centre of town has been organised with a special rate for bed and breakfast of 60 euro for a single room and 90 euro for a double or twin room.

                From mid afternoon visit to Mont Saint Michel (archaeomagnetic sampling and results obtained for
                the old medieval church beneath the Romanesque church). Dinner before heading back to Rennes

To get from the airport to the town centre it is easiest to take a taxi. There is also a bus (No 57) that goes from stop ‘Pommerais’ a short walk from the airport.

The workshop will be held at the scientific campus of Beaulieu, University of Rennes 1 in the CAREN building (attached to the geoscience building 15 where the archaeomagnetic laboratory is)

There is a frequent bus service (No 16) that goes between centre of town (stop ‘Republique’) and campus (stop ‘Ecole de Chimie’ or ‘INSA/ Bibliotheque’)
 
You will be provided with a book of 10 tickets for the bus and metro.

Registration: Registration costs are expected to be around 300 euros, which includes all meals (except Saturday evening) and excursion all day Sunday and half day on Monday.
